Oscar Giménez estaba casi genéticamente predestinado a ser ilustrador.
Tanto como su padre como su tío eran artistas gráficos que trabajaban en casa, así que Oscar creció en un insalubre entorno rodeado de tinta, olor a pintura, fotolitos y fechas de entrega ajustadas.
Aunque siempre le había gustado dibujar, al principio se resistió a seguir sus pasos y salió en busca de una vida de estabilidad y aire fresco.
Tras desilusionarse en varios trabajos y sentirse frustrado como artista, Oscar decidió finalmente seguir la llamada de la sangre. Y desde entonces no se ha arrepentido.
Hoy en día su trabajo está representado en Reino Unido, Australia y Alemania y cuenta entre sus clientes con Adobe, Playboy, Universal Music, Rolling Stone, Audi, Heineken Music Selector, Telecinco y The National Magazine Company, entre otros.
Sus ilustraciones también están presentes en varias publicaciones del ramo, que incluyen “The Big Book of Fashion Illustration”, “The Great Big Book of Fashion Illustration”, “Fresh 3, Cutting Edge Illustrations” y “What´s Illustration”.

Oscar Giménez was almost genetically pre-determined to becoming an illustrator.
Both his father and uncle were graphic designers/illustrators who worked at home, so Oscar grew up in an unhealthy atmosphere of ink, paint odours, photolithographs and tight deadlines.
Although he always loved drawing, initially he refused to follow in their foot-steps, but searched for a life of stability and fresh air.
After attempting many unfulfilling jobs and becoming a frustrated artist, Oscar finally decided to follow the call, with no regrets.
Oscar is represented in Spain, UK, Australia and Germany & has an impressive client list which includes Adobe, Playboy, Universal Music, Rolling Stone, Audi, Heineken, The National Magazine Company and Richmond Publishing, amongst others. His work is featured in various industry publications including “The Big Book of Fashion Illustration”, “The Bigger Book of Fashion Illustration”, “Fresh 3, Cutting Edge Illustrations” and “What´s Illustration”.
